Enabling AbilitiesFerrando Rehabilitation Society for Disabled is a ray of hope in the
midst of darkness for children and adults with disabilities. Set up in 2004, by Missionary Sisters of Mary Help of
Christians. Ferrando Rehabilitation Society for Disabled caters to the less fortunate people through quality education
and Rehabilitation services.
Persons with disabilities, especially children are among those who suffer most. Disability is linked with a greater likelihood of
having early social, emotional or behavioral difficulties, which affect the child’s development. Hence children with disabilities
need inevitable support from their families and Society to lead a respectable life. We at Ferrando Rehabilitation Society for Disabled
make it our life’s mission to ameliorate the sufferings of this section of humanity.
To rehabilitate, educate and empower persons with disabilities for an independent living in an inclusive Society.
MISSIONFRSD is a community based development organization committed to improve the quality of life for persons with disabilities through quality rehabilitation services, inclusive education; community based inclusive development and livelihood initiatives.
Our Policies
CHILD AND ADULT AT RISK SAFE GUARDING POLICY:
At FRSD, we believe that every child and adult have the right to be protected from all forms of harm, abuse, neglect, and exploitation, regardless of age, gender, sexuality, sexual orientation, religion, ethnic origin or whether they have a disability. It is our responsibility at FRSD to make sure that all children and adults who in our school, therapy sessions. Development and humanitarian field programme are safeguarded to the greatest extent possible. FRSD has a zero tolerance toward all forms of abuse and takes seriously any safeguarding concern or allegation involving FRSD staff, representatives and partners.
GENDER POLICY:
FRSD is committed to rights and equality for women, men, girls and boys in all our programme ensuring equal value, participation and decision-making by all; and addressing all forms of violence, discrimination, intimidation and exploitation for women, men, boys and girls so they can fulfill their aspirations. Promote enabling and empowering opportunities for all women, men, girls and boys, particularly with disability, to become agents of change within our programme.
ACCOUNTING POLICIES:
The Society follows the accounting procedures which conform to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for ensuring accuracy of information and compliance with eternal standards.
PURCHASE POLICIES:
FRSD has purchase committee and it comprised of Director, Administrator, programme director/HOD. All purchase of asset over 10,000 is recommended by purchase committee.
HUMAN RESOURCE POLICIES:
The society implemented Human resource policies to employees at all levels regardless of rank, level and status of employment. The organization believes that fair and just policies are implemented for uniform understanding and Harmony in the workplace. All employees are called upon to practice fairness in all their official dealings and in carrying out their functions based on these policies and procedures.
We worked with Government agencies and Non-Government agencies. We
are associated with them in more than one ways involving donations/grants, guidance, knowledge sharing, etc. The main

Donation Cause
Your donation will make a difference to a child with Hearing Impairment, Cerebral Palsy, Multiple Disability, Intellectual Disability or Autism. It will make him/her, a step closer to getting appropriate education, therapy, assistive devices and customized equipment so as to live a fuller, happier life.
Tax Exemption Details
Section 80G of the income tax provides an income tax deduction to the tax-payees on donations made to Ferrando Rehabilitation Society for Disabled.
